i have wondered my whole life, what that was i saw when i was 11 years old, i lived in the Phillipins at that time, we were on a vacation in the coast somewhere, blue ocean where u can allmost see the ocean floor, we decided to head back, but the WEIRDEST thing happened, as i looked on the left side of the moving boat, I saw this tiny creaute which appeared from the water, I've seen how Flying fishes fly, and this one was neither the same size and form as a fish. It looked more like an armored insect, flied like a humming bird or a bee, the way it changed direction and the velocity of the way it moved amazed me. It hovered for 2-3 seconds before it dove back into the sea again, im really curious, cause ive been searching the internett all my life since that day... does anyone know any fishes or sea innsects that behave like this? jon gonzales <bendy112233 a gmail com > norway - Wednesday, January 01, 2014 at 21:38:43 (PST) |
About a year ago I found about 5 lbs of dog food in the bottom drawer of my stove, then everytime I opened the bottom drawer in my bathroom dog food would trickle out on the side, my son who is in his thirties found his roller skates filled with the dog food in his closet, found his shoes filled with it, when he moved my daughters bureau out of the room to put his furniture in behind the drawers was tons of it??? I found dog food on the shelf in the closet in the cellar that I keep my out of season closes in,I also found it in a sealed plastic container I kept my out of season curtains in down there.at first he said it may have been his small child when he wasn't looking but it was up high on his shelf and in the cellar where no child has ever been, you know I just remembered where it started, in a tool bag left in my kitchen by my son in law when he was helping us redo the second floor apt in my house. Two people had passed away over the years that lived upstairs, but also my son had an autobody shop for several years that was haunted, do you think the ghost followed him here? anyway it hasn't appeared anymore, did I mention his first dog passed away, and we have another one c a h cranston, ri USA - Wednesday, January 01, 2014 at 20:00:24 (PST) |
My wife and I fostered a blue front parrot after hurricane sandy and ended up adopting the bird when the owner suddenly died. About 3 weeks after the owner died, a strange event happened. The parrot somehow transported instantaneously from one cage to another which was about 15 feet away. This bird can't fly and never walks on the ground and even if he could this feat could not have happened instantly. I was a little freaked out by this. It should also be said that the 80 year old owner was very attached to his 19 year old blue front in fact he was the love of his life. I am wondering if anyone else has had anything like this. A few years ago, my husband and I were driving back from Montana to Texas. Around one in the morning, soon after crossing into New Mexico, we saw a very strange signt in our headlights. For about two miles, Jackrabbits were standing erect on their hind legs, perfectly still along both sides of the road, in sigle file, and all turned and facing the same direction....they seemed frozen. They stood about five feet from the edge of the road, just a single line along both sides of the road...not a single one out of place. There were none in the road. None in a group behind them. They didn't move or react to our car or the head lights, they stayed in place even after we passed them. We were the only car on this deserted road at that time of night. There were hundreds of them lined up aong this two mile stretch. We were creeped out and didn't stop. Now I wish we had. I have not been able to find anyone else who has seen such a thing or can explain it. Stephanie USA - Monday, November 04, 2013 at 10:18:32 (PST) |
In summer 1996 on a clear, dry, and hot day just northwest of
Newberry, SC (34.318859,-81.661377) at roughly 2:00PM I was waiting for a
friend to finish getting ready on their porch. Motion above the tree
line caught my attention roughly 50 yards away. I proceeded to watch
what at first appeared like a semi translucent blueish white jellyfish
roughly 6' across outlined in yellowish orange fringe lazily bob above
the trees before closing up into a sphere the size of a beachball and
increasing in color intensity while becoming opaque. I watched it hover
along at walking speed from the northwest to the southeast while bobing
up and down for at least 30 seconds before the apparent plasma ball faded
into translucency. I also observed the neighbors shouting and motioning
toward the object. Richard Scott Mills <richardscottmills a yahoo com > Chapin, SC USA - Sunday, October 06, 2013 at 10:55:23 (PDT) |
Allow me to first set the story regarding this very peculiar event. I will start by telling you I have two female cats. One is a tiger grey named Bodacious. The other is yellow that I adopted from a local animal shelter, and her name is Chubacca. The "event" I allude to took place around Chubacca. It should also be known how I allow my cats in and out of the house because it's germane to the story. I have a system set up where they can jump into a confined space as situated between a partially raised glass storm door, and propped main door. I say "propped" because I use a bungee cord to keep the main door nearly closed, while still allowing the cats to push their way into the house when they want in. This system works really well, keeping things like flies, wasps, and mosquitoes out. Having said that... It was during a pleasant evening on a Sunday at around 8:35 pm on 09JUNE2013, where I was watching TV. I had just checked the time because I was browsing for something else to watch, when I heard one of my cats cry out in a fit. I at first thought it was Bo, because she oftentimes cries like that when she'd engaged with another cat or animal that has bested her. So I rushed to the door releasing the bungee cord, only to see Chubacca "the quite one" crawling along the outside of the glass storm door, dragging her two hind legs behind her. My first thought was that a car or something hit her. At that same moment, as I began to open the glass storm door come to her aid, she flipped over and began to "engage" with something unseen to my eyes. She curled up on her backside in order to bring whatever it was closer so that she could attack it. And she did. They rolled out into the middle of the porch deck, where she got whatever it was that had her, to let her go. Immediately she bolted through the now open door and into the house. And whatever had her, I watched as it bolted through the brush growing up around the deck area. I know something was there, even though I could not see it, because of the way the brush exploded apart at it raced through. I was just standing there, awestruck, not believing what I had just seen (or didn't see, take your pick.) I then turned my attention to my cat to check her out. She was okay, just rattled. I went back to the deck where this, this... I don't know what to call it, really, but right in the same spot where my cat had fought whatever it was, there began this slow manifestation of a wet-looking spiral that trailed out to the same place where whatever it was, bolted through the bushes. And there it was, this weird looking spiral of what looked like water, sitting in the middle of an otherwise dry deck with absolutely no weather in the area. So I got my digital camera, and took pictures of it. I was only able to salvage one really good one because I was amped up and just too shaky with the others. But at least I got one! And I touched the stuff, too. I looked like water, it felt like water, and it smelled like water. Not knowing what it was, I didn't press my luck any further. And here is where things get even weirder, if that's possible. Having no understanding of what I just witnessed, I parked the memory of it in the back of my head. Then, on 19JUNE2013, exactly ten days later, I'm watching "Paranormal Witness" on the SciFi Channel. The episode is called "The Lost Boy." As the story goes; and in an effortcommunicate with the living; the spirit of the dead child made a weird looking spiral out of material in the middle of the kitchen floor. All I know is, you normally don't get answers to mysteries like this in any given lifetime. But it seems I was just handed one. As weird and strange as it all sounds, or is -- it is what happened -- and I should know because it happened to me. Otherwise, I would have never believed it. I just wish cats could talk. In the spring of 2004 at about 2:15 in the am I was awakened by a weird. Wordless calling type of sensation to look out my bedroom window there was no one around except for my 7dogs 6of whom were asleep except long socks his ears and hair were standing up was growling. As well not barking and what I saw that night was real not a dream it was pitch black but the object I saw in the middle of the road floating was darker than the night had to offer its shape was of an upside down triangular in shape black as hell it appeared to be floating on six or seven rag like tentacles .not touching the road as I and long socks got closer maybe 35 30 yards from it my dog started whimpering not wanting to get closer it started rotating counter clockwise slowly then picked up speed took seconds I could clearly see what it was as I described it above it shot towards the nightsky which is where I lost it almost Instantaneous. Ever since I have been trying to hunt what ever it was I saw that night I just hope someone the world over might have caught a glimpsed of the same thing I saw that spring early morning Rolando carrizales <rcarrizales50 a gmailcom> pearsall, tx USA - Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 14:44:32 (PDT) |
I live in suburban Brisbane The other night I saw a small black animal move very fast from the kitchen to the garage. Too fast to be a rat. But around the same size. Furry like a skunk with An erect tail kind of like a squirrel. We don't have skunks or squirrels here. Rather disconcerting this animal is sooo quick so is hard to get a good look. My mate was there, he took one look at me then one look at my bourbon. So I was almost ready to forget it. Then this mornings wife saw it. Again, very fast and as I had discribed it. Any ideas???? This is not a report of unusual phenomena, but I do have something
helpful to contribute! In the "odd animals" section I've read I think four different posts regarding hummingbird-like creatures, one described it as like a little furry lobster with wings, all mention the super-fast wings and hovering and the butterfly-like proboscis. Well, I have seen these guys many times! They are called hummingbird moths, or hawk moths. Scientific name is Hemaris thysbe. If you google it you can find lots of pictures and info on them. I can certainly see why people are baffled by these guys, when I first saw one I couldn't figure out what the hell it was either. They mimic a real hummingbird so well, but are also so clearly insects, it's freaky! I see them every summer for the last several years in the flowerbeds, here in southwest Wisconsin. I've always wanted to catch one so that I can get a really good look at it, study it, but no way- they are far too fast! And also I wouldn't want to hurt them, they seem very delicate and rare. Now I just hope the people who asked about these odd and beautiful creatures come back and read this, and find the solution to their mystery! This happened this morning around 5:50am. I woke up due to allergies and went to sit on the couch in the living room with a glass of water. Our couch is next to windows that overlook the back yard. We have a 10X10 patio right outside the same windows. I saw something black at the far end of the patio (literally 10ft. away) no larger than a human fist. My first thought was bullfrog. I moved slightly to get a better look and the thing scurried to behind the grill. It then ran along the side of the house towards the window. It was not hopping, and it was not running like a normal mammal. It had no tail. My next thought was giant spider. It ran towards the grass. It did not move like a spider, and there was no light between 8 legs. It also did not have a separate head and body like a spider. The best way I can describe it after seeing it move is guinea pig. Since we live close to the county line, we are out near farmland, not near the city, and we have giant hawks that would eat an unsuspecting guinea pig in seconds. I could not tell its head from its body from its legs. I have never seen anything like it. Please let me know if you have. I would really prefer a simple explanation for this over something bizarre.
